About the IPH Collaboration Intensive
At IPH, we invest our own capital and resources in hand-selected Founder-led companies with the goal to nurture lasting businesses. We see ourselves as partners with those Founders in whom we invest, so it just makes sense that there are times when we want to get a closer look into a startup before we make a commitment to start a long-term relationship. The Collaboration Intensive is our way getting to know you and your company better to see if there is a fit.
Why do we invite a Founder to join us in our Collaboration Intensive process?
Because your startup has piqued our interest! We don’t yet know what shape a relationship with you might take; there are some areas we want to delve into so we can fully understand the opportunity at-hand. Our goal over the course of about 30 days is to spend time with a Founder and his or her team to get a 360-degree view of your company, and leave no stone unturned as together we explore all the possible paths to success.
We bring fresh eyes and decades of experience to the table because we’re entrepreneurs too. In open collaboration we will go over all facets of your business, freely sharing our perspective on your strengths, things to look out for, and where we might see an opportunity – and we’ll recommended strategies and identify areas you may want to investigate further. Our collaboration can reveal new insights – be it a twist on your business model, a new potential market, or a financing approach you may not have considered.
What’s the outcome of the Collaboration Intensive?
Our hope is to come away excited by the prospect of becoming an invested partner in your startup and confident that we can help you get where you want to be.
Another possible outcome is for us to work together to map a path to investment. We are unique in that we can offer Founders cost-efficient access to IPH’s Business Support and Technical Services – a single-source for services including turnkey office space, IT admin, accounting, marketing, software development, recruiting, fractional C-level leadership, and more.
If we ultimately determine there’s not an opportunity for us to work together today, as a Founder you benefit from your time with the IPH team; you will have received expert feedback and insight across all areas of your business that will help you gain more clarity around your goals and strengthen your startup’s value proposition.
At IPH, we are always learning and honing our skills. Our strength is helping entrepreneurs find their optimal path to success. We are made richer by what we learn through open, honest collaboration with startup teams. We see the IPH Intensive Collaboration process as a win-win no matter the ultimate outcome.
